Steamers are not the most favourite of categories, but despite that, a number have been built, as here the steamship PER BRAHE, which sank in   lake Vättern and later salvaged. The model is displayed in Göta Kanalmuseum , Motala.

I have built  models for as long as I can recall. First aeroplanes in balsa  and paper, later plastic models. At fourteen year's age I won my first prize in a competition,  with a castle built of  paper.  More than thirty years ago I built  my  first ship model in wood  and still going! I use of course no building kits, working up all the models from the basic materials. I can also prepare the drawings if need be.
